Annette studied garden design at KLC School of Design in London and graduated with a diploma and honours. She has a certificate in creative writing and the Royal Horticultural Society's Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture. In 2009 she was awarded a commendation at Hampton Court Palace by KLC School of Design for her dedication as horticulturalist, designer and plantswoman. She's based in France and Switzerland and is working as a freelance designer, garden writer and photographer. Her work has been widely published in international magazines, calendars and books. Clients include Burda, Axel Springer Ringier, Immediate Media, IT Media, Bauer Verlag and Ulmer.
Her first book was published in 2015, the year she won the European Garden Photography Award. She's a member of the Garden Media Guild , the Professional Garden Photographer's Association and the Royal Photographic Society.
Her work is represented by GAP Photos, Flora Press, Millennium Images and Getty Images.
